garden in cold

I have not mulched the raised beds for winter yet, because surprisingly in spite of the colder nights, there are still plants alive in each spot!

Chard and marigolds

Collards and leaf beet chard-

Turnips, turnips-

Leeks- need to pull, slice and freeze them. (Saving cut in the fridge didn't work out- I didn't use them up fast enough and they went bad).

Even a few peppers!

Rain has really perked up the green onions-

and even the lavender- with a summer heart- still looks nice
