zebra Danio in my aquarium, which completes the little school (as far as the current plan goes). They were pale in transit and soon after acclimation process began, started to color up. When I finally let them into the home tank, their colors were just as bold as all the others, and now it's hard to tell them apart. One newcomer is definitely the largest fish, with a bigger belly and I call it Gordo- although it could well be a gravid female. The other I can only tell apart from its behavior, it seems to frequently run across unanticipated areas of stronger current from the filter, and struggles in surprise (or so I imagine). I call that one Imo.
Now all the others blend together in a blur of stripes, but Blip still stands out from the rest with his distinctive markings. And now he is the one often hugging the bottom in their twilight hours, while the others swim in upper level.
