I should have been more patient with my Poinsettia. It takes time. I did start the darkness-in-a-box routine late in the season. But now the upper leaves are flush with color, some vivid red, some a rich purple, others with rosy veins. Lovely colors.

Wow they really are gorgeous!!!! Our plants do teach us patience, don't they? I was just telling Matt, well my orange tree is going to give me NOTHING this year…it's not even going to have any new growth…now it's covered in new tiny little leaves and probably about 40 flower buds!!!! So excited :D I wanted to let you know that Saturday Farmers Market is back too and I'M hosting it now :D :D :D So excited!!!!! You were the first person I thought of :)
Yes, even though they're not all solid bold red like what you get in the store I like the color variation here.
Will be looking forward to your Farmers Market posts- although I don't grow much to eat now :(
