sprouting. I worry that I don't see many Hosta coming back up; this is the largest one
and there are three others with tiny new shoots. The two biggest plants from last year show no sign of growing yet. But I must be patient. I remember fretting over them last year too, and they all ended up emerging from the soil again.
The Peony shoots are growing very quickly. It looks a bit crowded next to the shrub behind; I think in the fall if I dig it up to divide I'll move it forwards a bit too, so it has more room.
