out front

My peonies bloomed this week. They looked gorgeous for a few days- but now are all done, a rainstorm beat them down. Well here's a few photos I got on the best day-
the oldest one had the most blooms, which stood taller-
second-year one flowers are white with pale pink undertones- very pretty but hung its head. Third one hasn't bloomed yet, probably will next year.
My osteospermum daisies aren't doing well. Or, the flowers wither quickly. I'm not sure if it's the weather, or an insect, or soil conditions? the foliage looks okay to me- but almost pointless to grow it for flowers if they keep looking like this a day after opening
the  'Sassy rose' argyranthemum is doing fine, it keeps flowering as long as I clip the spent ones off
I pinched my mums, for the first time. Only three of the plants have good growth, after the ups and downs of spring weather. Well, I will do my best to keep up with the pinching, and see if it's worth the effort in fall, to put a few more in again.
