nasturtium flowers

are among my favorites. I'm really pleased with how they've done this year.
Nice variety of colors among the plants, too. Bold red
orange and gold
pale yellow with red spots
a more muted salmon-red
that turns pink when fading.
The front porch ones have bloomed, too
and a few of those planted across the front bed- but these are scrawny.
Not helped by the fact that my cat occasionally sits on one. He likes the low edge of stone wall. Have to plant something else there next year.
The sweet potato vine among my nasturtiums in the deck planters are doing nicely, too.
And I love the big, round almost-blue leaves.
