the small garden

Actually found time to take a few pictures the other day. It's been growing!

The broccoli looks nice, but I don't think they will produce before it gets way too hot.

We've been eating the swiss chard and cilantro.

I also picked a handful of peppers off my three-year-old plant. Small but strong flavor.

And all my tomatoes, growing in pots around the edges of things and up on the deck, have doubled in size. Yeah, it will be a late crop if any.

Mulched with grass clippings.

The two sitting on lower deck apparently get less light than the others- they're a lot taller, leggy.

Marigold. Maybe I'll get some flowers? It had a late start too.

I'm happy to see my coleus is doing great. No sign of illness here. I've already had to move it up to a bigger pot.
