that were crowded in the root bed- carrots and beets. Ate a tiny handful of the latter.

They all look like they're doing well. But there was a clump of turnip/rutabaga seedlings at the bottom of two carrot rows- I must've dropped a few when sowing. Oh well, pulled 'em out.
Mother to two girls and one kitty cat. I love books and gardening. I enjoy puzzles, scrabble games and keeping planted tanks. From the great Pacific Northwest, I now live on the East Coast.
