So my first set of plants spends all day out on the table,
or in the coldframe, sheltered from wind-
and just come in at night if it drops below freezing. Still a few nights here and there in the twenties, or I'd plant them in the garden already. All those that need warmth above forty spend the day in the little greenhouse.
My carefully spaced tray of marigolds had twelve seeds but only two grew. That was such a low rate I tried again, scattered the seed very thickly in three trays. Figured if five or six seed germinated per tray, that would be great. Instead, now I have tons. Well I overdid it but next year will sow an amount in between! Or do them in the second grouping, maybe it was just a bit too cold when I sowed the first time around.
