Someone at fish club raved about these nano usb air pumps, so I was curious (because none of the pumps are ever as quiet as the manufacturer claims them to be). I ordered two to try out. They're tiny.
The usb end can plug into an outlet-
or into a battery pack if the power's out- which lasts way longer than the emergency pump with D size traditional batteries I have (and those are very irritatingly loud noisy). I am so impressed with this thing. It puts out enough air to run the sponge filter on my ten gallon, and the other one is now on my shrimp bowl with a valve to gentle the flow. I promptly ordered two more, and put them on the sponge filters in my window tank. Now my front room is relatively quiet again. I only hear the motion of bubbles, and the low murmur of the analog timer on the tenner's light. Wow. Recommended!
