More have sprouted in the past few days- my second set of collards:
the amaranth is tiny, and purple!
Finally have sculpit:
tomatoes came up yesterday:
crowd of celosia:
Also just emerged: basil, a few summer savory, fenugreek and epazote. These are a week older- hyssop:
zinnia and cosmos:
even older, young plants in the coldhouse- leaf chard, marigolds, arugula, leeks and chervil (ate three of those, minced up on baked fish):
and in the coldframe- lettuces, dill, kale, parsley and nepitella:
It was just warm enough last night to leave these out in the coldframe, with a blanket thrown over- 36° and tonight will be just above 40°, nice. Then we have more cold weather, but soon I can quit shifting this group in/out, and plant them in the ground!
