flowers

Spent the morning weeding the garden after yesterday's rain, and found lots of things in flower. Particularly, the Lettuces.
This is the Simpson plant. They make tiny yellow flowers.
In the next plot over, the Bibb have just begun to form buds too.
They're far enough apart they shouldn't cross, but even if that was a concern, they're flowering at different times, so I think it will be okay. So far the Romain is still working on growing tall.

Green Beans have some flowers forming, too.
This one has shot out a long tendril. I thought I had bush beans, but this one looks like it thinks it's a pole bean.
 Maybe it is- perhaps that's what I get for saving seed, it's reverting back to an earlier form...
