'wild coleus' flowers
My 'wild coleus' on the deck sent up flower spikes.
They look more like basil than coleus flowers to me, but that's no surprise as the two are in the same general plant family.

Where did you aquire those seeds?Is it from Mexico?D o you still have this "wild coleus"?
It still grows in my yard, self-seeds every year. I don't think it's a coleus, but in a related plant family. A gardening forum online identified it to me as shiso. I do not know if that is accurate (have not yet tried to eat it!)
