aponogeton

I have been a bit disappointed in how the apono is growing. Cutting off dying leaves, thought it was just adjusting to being in a new tank. Looked so lovely green just two weeks ago-
Then got so brown with the algae outbreak
I removed more of that, but noticed that although the plant was growing new leaves at a fast rate- a new stem emerging every other day or so- the leaves remained pale and brownish as they reached higher
it just looked peaky
Finally I remembered to dose the ferts- micros and macros- now the new growth is bright green again- see the little leaf right of center-
Funny thing one of the smaller plants its leaves turn on themselves almost like aponogeton ulvaceus but I don't think its that

I did! Just got two new ones- so now each tank has a tomato snail and a horned nerite. Trying to get more pictures soon- the smallest horned one is so hard to photograph.
