The Basils in cardpots are growing well, but the lower level of cardboard getting moldy.
None of the plants outside in coldframe have that problem; probably because of being in fresh air and not so warm. So that's another reason not to start stuff too early inside.
All the seedlings leaves are withering and falling off; one of the Basil plants has three true leaves, whereas the others all have two. It's the same one that had three seedling leaves, too. I wonder now if every time it puts out new leaves, will be in sets of three instead of pairs.
Cat knocked the little plastic greenhouse off the windowsill. I scooped up what soil I could, but most got vacuumed. So no idea if any seeds got back into the pots, or if they were now at the wrong level. I wasn't going to bother with restarting those pots until it's warmer, so just stuck it out of the way. But found one little survivor opening its green leaves.
