There's ten. It's really too many. Six or eight would be better for the space, and ten plants might be more than we can actually eat. But I have to think ahead of losses to the squirrels, if my plan to build a chicken-wire cage around the tomato bed doesn't work.

Darn healthiest-looking tomato plants I ever grew yet, at this stage. So I'm hopeful for something good.
