Noticed the other day my sweet potato vine outside are looking really healthy. I looked closer and no signs of pests- the pale mottled leaves. Instead this green insect who looks like a hunter.
Yes! for once I promptly found identification online- it's a pale green assassin bug nymph, and it eats aphids and leafhoppers. Sweet potato looks great now but my stevia plant nearby has pale freckles indicating pests- so I gently moved the assassin bug over to the stevia.
Then took new cuttings of sweet potato vine-
to replenish on top of the window tank
