a few new fishes

This weekend we were in Rockville on the way home from an event, and stopped at the nice aquarium shop because it was on the way home. I'd wanted to get some fishes there for a while, but wasn't actually ready to do it that day. However we stopped, and then came straight home, and then I spent a half hour putting up the quarantine tanks (bins) quick as I could. The usual setup- half destination tank water, half new, sponges pulled out of the 45, fake decor and hides, etc:
This one has a half dozen white cloud mountain minnows, which I hope can live with Laddie.
They are small, and shy (first time I've ever seen my quarantined fish actually take shelter in the pvc pipe). Four of them are doing great- even eating a little. One is hiding a lot- either up at surface in the hornwort, in the pvc pipe, or in the hollow of an empty floating sponge. Sixth fish has crashed- shame because it was the largest, most mature one too. Been doing water changes daily. Don't know if the crashed one will make it.
Other QT has three more black skirt tetras- wanted to increase my school.
They're a bit pale, and hiding some-
but the smallest bold enough came out to nip end of the airline hose first time I cleaned their bin! and they've been eating well and starting to spar and chase each other around already.
