bricks stage

I'm nearly done with the second stage of my garden brick project. It's been taking a long time (well, there were weeks that I simply had no time to work on it). Finally all painted, and stacked near the garden:

This is the last lot I painted. I'm eager to move on to the next step- removing the old walls and putting in the new!

I did my best to research on the materials used, but of course you never know about info found online- so I had some minor doubts still. Then found out that drylock is often used in aquariums to make fake backgrounds- people make some pretty fantastic-looking stuff btw- so I feel better now that I chose the right stuff to weatherproof my bricks. If it's safe for sensitive aquarium inhabitants, and can stand up to being submerged in water for years, I'm pretty sure it's going to be fine in the rain and damp soil, and not leach anything dangerous into my garden. Kinda funny I got this reassurance from one hobby to apply to the other!
