seedling pics

This is the first time I've grown kale. The seedlings are cute- they have pretty, pink/purple edges. They make me miss growing broccoli.

Leaf beet chard is coming up in little pairs and trios.

Nearly all my lettuces have opened their leaves- only tray lagging behind with germination is the simpson elite (sadly, as it's my favorite lettuce variety so far)

I didn't know (glad I marked the tray) that chervil and dill seedlings look almost exactly alike. The three on the right are chervil, the five on the left are dill.

Nearly all my bought marigold seeds have sprouted, but in the nearby tray of saved seed, I only have two (where I sowed more). I wonder if I didn't gather the seeds at the right time? or dry them enough?
