all my coleus

My little collection. Coleus limelight really does seem to glow.

In the kitchen windowsill I have one pot of the orange/red-centered coleus (the other pieces of it in the fish tank are very pale now).

and two 'kiwi fern', which look better than ever. I move them off the windowsill on coldest nights.

I've found my other coleus do better on the floor by the heat vent in my dining room, rather than in the window. They still get enough light, and I don't have to move them at night. I like the purple-veined 'gay delight' so much in this spot, am thinking of potting some up to keep as houseplants here year-round. I wasn't too fond of the 'wizard jade' last summer- didn't care for its twisted leaf tips, and I often think plants with white in the leaves look sickly. But the ones inside now have straight tips, and look rather attractive. I will keep it.
