I'm always glad to see the hosta shoots rising up out of bare patches of ground.
They're like a growing crown
Some are sheathed in red,
Others much greener.
This one on the far end of the bed area much taller, more vigorous than the rest.
At the same time Liriope is reviving- I cut back the old growth and admire the new shoots.
