new from old

It looks like the one aloe baby I have left is going to make it.

Good thing, because I'm not sure if its parent will. I think it did get a bit of sunburn on the largest leaves, and I'm not sure what to do with it now. It could live outside at the new place for the summer, but in winter there's just no room for it indoors. The smaller offspring I can probably find a sunny gap for, but not this sprawling mama. I think I'm going to have to let it go to a new home...

Also to consider is that its "twin" which I bought at the same time and gave to my then-boyfriend, is over there (it looked like an octopus for a while, the arms all long and a bit droopy, but I've repotted it with new drier soil mix and moved into sunnier spot and it seems to be recovering now). I really don't need three aloes in the house, so I will probably just keep the two smaller ones.
