sideyard fence

In my sunny sideyard, lovage is looking so good this year. I pinched a sprig off for my husband to taste and he said -sounding surprised- "it tastes like celery!" Yup, my celery substitute. Gave it a compost feed.

Tons of bright spears- the gladiolas emerging even thicker this year.

I put up a little wire fence between my side and the neighbor's (where the red brick pavers are). They often grow peppers and tomatoes. My gladiolas tend to fall over and make things crowded. With a fence backdrop I can run a few loops of twine or something and hold them more upright, tidy and not in the neighbor's space.
