growout tank

Took out the fry box.

I've moved ten fry into the other tank to live with their dad- I think they're all males- they're the largest of the group, and all showed a smudge of dark on the dorsal fin. A few now are starting to have obvious black fin tips, and some have a gleam of blue color showing on their sides. I netted all the younger fry out of the mesh box directly into their tank- now at large with the two mothers. Of course it's too many to keep- there's over twenty in there. Started feeding a few every other day to Laddie- he colored up and took interest right away.
