because I was taking lots of photos:

showing the sweet potato vine on top. I removed a few that were faltering- either because of the cooler nights, or root exposure to light (I've read this can be a problem?) or there's tiny insects on there

although the water doesn't feel 'tacky' to me like when there were aphids, so I think not
