sweet pea!!

Cleaning up in the garden- trimming plants that sprawl over edges, and grass that the mower can't reach. Saw a green tendril climbing the bit of fence I'd put up at the back of the bed that has peppers.

A sweet pea vine finally grew!

I had to stand on tiptoes to reach, but it does have the beautifully sweet smell I recall from my childhood. This one is an old-fashioned variety I wanted to grow specifically for its scent. So happy for it.

I just need more of them now!
