correcting edges

I did more work on the beds this morning. Strung a line, pulled half the bricks off one side and all of them off the other, redid the edges of bed 1 against house wall. It still slopes a bit in the back- I think I dug a bit too much soil out-

but the ends now line up!

and it doesn't look as crooked from above (on the right)- (yeah, there's an end on bed 2 sticking out a bit, I need to figure that out. I'm probably going to pull that brick off, shift the side in a bit, and patch with a smaller red half brick)

It's kind of nice that the path behind bed 1 is wide enough I can comfortably sit down with my back against the wall. Took this photo from that spot, looking out through the garden.

Now I just need to do bed 4, where the leeks and few remaining beets are, and then see if I have enough to enclose the rue.
