Kid and I caught a nasty little cold. Well, we made its stay brief- four days and she's almost better, I'm through the worst of the symptoms as well now. I was at the grocery and bought a packet of fresh rosemary to make us rosemary honey tea. Several mugs each, over the past few days. And then, because the rosemary sprigs looked so fresh, I decided to try and grow 'em. One little bunch the usual way- lower part of cuttings stripped, stuck in the dirt, cloche over to hold in humidity.

The other few I put in a jar of water. Never heard of making rosemary grow like this, but found instructions online said it will root in water. What the heck, I will try.

I know I've done this before- with a fresh plant from my sister-in-law as well- without success yet. But sometimes I'm stubbornly optimistic.
