the hellebores

Are doing amazing. A few looked really awful earlier this spring, I think from the drastic temperature changes, but they are bouncing back now. Others have doubled in size again-
This one I dug up and moved into the empty space left by the divided salvia- to give it more room to mature. Unfortunately the next two days suddenly turned very hot, so I gave it two gallons of water per day. It made it through that transplant shock, only loosing a few leaves.
Flower turned green on another one. I'm still surprised every time I see the green flowers in the garden.
This one has some wondrously fat seed pods developing. Perhaps soon I will have my own young hellebores!
