downside

Of adding new stuff (post pending): sick fish. I thought I was safe because the plants I bought were gel cultured and others from an isolated plant tank at the pet store- but I guess someone could have cross-contaminated there...

My new fishes went through two and a half weeks of quarantine, and looked fine. Introduced them to the main tank, and they looked fine. Put in some new plants, and now one of the new females has something on her tail. It doesn't look like ich, it doesn't look like anchorworm. Kind of oblong shaped, don't protrude much. Another kind of parasite? I'm feeding garlic, looking up what it might be so I know how to treat...
