sunshine!

The warm weather today made my heart smile. Thermostat is bumped down, windows are open for fresh air and a few houseplants got to enjoy some sun on the balcony. Took the boston fern out so I could spray it thoroughly- it always perks up after being misted or accompanying a bath/shower. I've been more diligent about misting certain plants all winter and its paid off- not a single bout of spider mites this time. Phew.

Poinsettia here sporting a few little brick-red leaves (I don't feel I can properly call these flower bracts, as they're incomplete)

Still no seedlings coming up in my greenhouse jugs, but at least it finally feels like spring.
