I have not looked very closely at my Thyme pots lately, but today brought the larger one- three years old now- inside to pinch a fresh bit for my eggs. Looking at it sitting on the table at eye-level I noticed it was starting to have a thicker "trunk" and some interesting shapes. So instead of just pinching a bit off the top for my eggs, I selectively removed stems to clear off the "branches" and then just kept going. This is what I ended up with:

and a nice bunch to dry for more cooking.
I think it really has some potential, now! to become something that looks like a
real bonsai.
Oh wow this is so pretty!! I totally want to grow one now :D
