new flower

New Daylily opened its petals today. Gorgeous!
Not nearly as spectacular, but just as pleasing are the pink Cosmos under the window, which are starting to branch out.

    Oh wow!! That daylily really is gorgeous :D Love the colors!! I threw some cosmo seeds in a planter here and they sprouted..just don't know if they'll flower in the container..we'll see!

    I don't see any reason why cosmos wouldn't grown well in a container.

    Purple and yellow are my favorite color/color combo for flowers. I've never gotten past growing only tulips, but after seeing a lot of lily photos on gardening blogs, I'm persuaded to do likewise!

    i love cosmos so much! been trying to get variety of them, but its not easy to get them in Malaysia..
