One of the older Jade cuttings starting to look quite top-heavy
so I decided to pinch it back and encourage a stouter base.
I ended up with quite a few leaves that could easily be rooted but didn't bother this time.
Really, who needs more than fourteen jade plants? which is what I've got now, and it seems far too many. I like looking at the bold green little forest, though.
I love this!! I wish I had the luck you had with Jade :( I tried to grow a new plant off of the leaf of my plant and the poor leaf just died. I tried to grow it outside though...should I do it inside? Do you have any pointers?
ReplyDeleteIs your "parent" jade kept outside? All I do really is stick the leaves in the dirt, and water it perhaps a bit more frequently than normal, so they don't dry out. Over half just wither up; stick a bunch in and maybe you'll get lucky! I keep mine indoors; it's too cold here in the fall/winter and too buggy in the summer.
