zucchini

Looking carefully through the Zucchini flowers this morning, found some female ones at last!

and behind one nearly-finished flower, the fruit already forming.

But discouraged, as I also found a second wave of cucumber beetles hiding out in the flowers

squished all I found, but already a few leaves are sickening and I had to pinch off the ones with curled wilted edges. I hope there's not too many. Sprayed with basil tea again.
