Nearly every day I check the seed pods on the Peony, waiting for them to crack open. So far none have yet, but one of the Tulip seedpods has done so, changing its shape quite a bit. I picked it and brought inside to finish drying and study closer.
Outside it has a paneled
ribbed shape
and inside, it looks like little pockets that perhaps hold the seeds.
Not quite sure what to do next with it, but going to read up on it. I want to try and grow my own tulips from this, just to see if I can!
