I don't think any more Cauliflower seedlings are going to come out of the ground outside; something is eating the tender little plants right when they emerge. I have only been able to find one slug, maybe pill bugs are the culprits.

So I've set out the large plants

and covered the remaining seedlings with plastic-bottle cloches. Damage has halted for the time being.
