Finally bought some rooting hormone powder. All those cuttings I've had? None of them have grown at all, but then they haven't died either. The Aglaonema unfurled a bit more. The Poinsettia looks awful, though. It's started to drop leaves. I took all four of them, made a new clean cut on the stem (with a knife, not scissors, so as to avoid crushing the tissues) dipped them in the hormone powder and put back in their pots, with covers on. Of course they're all an eyesore now, with different shaped juice jugs making little greenhouse effects on my dressertop. I'll patiently wait, and if this doesn't promote new growth, toss them out.
