cilantro

I found some Cilantro seedlings growing among the Basil, and carefully removed them to put in their own pot. Some unfortunately lost their little roots in the process. But I remembered having read in one of Thalassa Cruso's gardening books that after transplanting you should cover the plants with plastic to seal in the moisture, as the plants can absorb it through their leaf or stem tissues while the roots are recovering. So I tried that- put a plastic juice bottle with the bottom cut off over them. And right away they started to stand up straight! Now I have three pots of Cilantro- A. will be so pleased.
