houesplants

Plants were on sale, so I brought a few more home. Two different kinds of Dracaena, which I've always wanted

and a Dumb Cane

There's a weed in my lawn that I keep yanking out. Just discovered it's a plant similar to the creeping charlie we grew as houseplants back home when I was a kid. Here it's called Creeping Jenny, and the leaves are slightly fuzzy and have pointy tips, whereas my mom's plant had smooth, glossy leaves that were rounder (both with scalloped edges). I wasn't entirely sure of this one's identity until I found a plant in the garden path showing the small spring flowers- pale blue. I potted up some of the nicest shoots I found, and since coming into the house it's really perked up and started looking lovely.

The buds forming appear to have white flowers.
