After rinsing out my cast iron I put it in the oven on lowest heat until the oven heats up then turn the oven off and let the pot sit there to dry. If I leave it over night with the oven light on I am always amazed in the morning how warm the oven is. P...Try this for a warm spot for your bread raising. Put it in the oven with a bowl of hot/boiling water. The steam from the water will warm the oven.
