seedling progression

Nicest looking ones so far are the nasturtiums.

A day ago the rest of my lettuce came up, the dill, summery savory and my other tray of broccoli. Still waiting for the borage and peppers to appear. Maybe this is why I go through the trouble of overwintering pepper plants- because the seeds always seem reluctant to germinate for me.

It seems every year I spill one or two new trays. Already this spring I dropped a tray of tomato seedlings. Managed to retrieve all the baby plants and prop them back up straight, tamped into the fluffy seed-starting soil. I wasn't sure they'd recover but so far are doing fine!
