dried stevia

Checking my drying herbs hung in paper bags every few days. The first to be dry enough to store in jar was Stevia.
After stripping all the leaves off the stems it was a simple matter to crush them into powder between my fingers (I don't have a mortar and pestle yet).
Not sure what I'll do with this- after reading up on it, seems a complicated matter to replace sugar with stevia in baking. But it will be easy to put a pinch in my dandelion coffee!

So cool!! Not an herb that I have..I have a very simple herb garden right now since I'm limited to containers at my apt. Rosemary, thyme, lemon thyme, parsley, chives, cilantro and oregano..oh and mint! But I do so love my herbs!! OH! And basil :p Two kinds!

Sounds like you have a LOT of herbs! I have all those as well, but my lemon thyme isn't growing very quickly for some reason. And my cilantro all just went to flower, I was going to try and start some more but my second sowing never seems to do well. Probably because it's too hot.
